Vera van Nuenen is a researcher working across art, culture, fashion, and digital media. Her practice combines critical thinking with making, exploring how technology reshapes our relationship to clothing, identity, and visual culture in the context of contemporary societal questions. She is particularly interested in the intersections of digital and physical media, with a focus on visual communication, fashion printed matter, and the shifting values within the fashion system. Vera holds a Master’s degree in Art & Society from Utrecht University, and her work moves fluidly between research and practice.
She currently works as a freelancer in PR & Communication, and fundraising at POST, Platform for contemporary art, and marketing at Hoogte80 Festival.
She also writes articles about fashion, art & culture for magazines such as Metropolis M, Tubelight, Gauchoworld and Glitch Magazine.
